For those looking for an inexpensive replacement 5" x 7" speaker or a simple upgrade from the factory speakers, consider the Sony XSR5743. These great speakers from Sony utilize materials and technology not found in traditional factory speakers and create an excellent aftermarket sound. The 35 watts RMS power handling is ideal for allowing the speakers to run directly off the headunit, while the 190 watt max gives plenty of room for peaking and protections against burps of power. The woofer is made from polypropylene for a smooth response, and the surround is treated cloth. Sony has designed a High Density Layered Diaphragm (HDLD) into the XSR5743 speakers for great linearity, smooth response, and deep bass. I installed these in my fiance's brothers car (along with a pair of Sony explode 6x9's) to a Sony explode 4 channel amp & they sound Super Clean! They handle the wattage that the 6x9's do like a champ! I would definitely recommend these tweeters to anyone who's got bass, mids and is looking to add loud, crystal clear sound to their ride!

I hooked up these speakers to a stock head unit in my van and I get excellent bass response from them. This was a great deal, price and shipping response. I will buy from sonic again.

I just recently purchased these speakers to replace a set of blown factory speakers. They are so much louder and clearer. I am amazed at how great they sound for such a low price. I am going to buy another pair soon to put in my back doors. If you want great speakers for a low price, then these are perfect.

I got the speakers cheap and they work very good i bolted them in my truck and the sound is perfect i deffinetly recomend them.
