I bought my 404 6 months ago and I love using it everyday. It works seamless with my iPod navigating it and using it is as easy as can be. What's even more useful is the integration with my flash drives. The ease of installation is great. This is a great buy for anyone wanting an all digital head unit.

I've had this in my '09 Titan for a week now, and I love it. The interface is so easy to use, I was able to navigate through it without even opening the user manual, with the exception of setting the clock. You have to have the emergency brake set as if your going to watch a video to access the menu containing the clock settings.
The display is beautiful, and bright enough to see in direct sunlight, without being obnoxious at night.
Install was a breeze with the included adapters from Sonic. Fit perfectly and looks amazing in my dash.
The sound quality is pure and clean, true Alpine perfection. I've been using Alpine stereos for the last 19 years, and have never had a bad one.
If you're tired of messing with CD's, and want an amazing looking, sounding, and easy to use digital media receiver with a TON of expandability options at the lowest price on the net, then buy this and buy it here!

I absolutely love this product because it focuses on one thing and perfects it: the iPod.
The iPod interface is fantastic, the physical and on-screen buttons feel so natural, just like Apple intended, and the interface itself is blazing fast.
There are also tons of expandability options like GPS, Bluetooth, Alpine's powerpack, and Imprint.
If your music in the car is stored on an iPod, don't even think twice, this is the prefect product from one of the best manufacturers in the business.

this deck works good, looks good and is fairly easy to use. the only issue i can see with this deck is that if your library is large it takes a long time to find your music and if you use a usb as input the banking thing is kinda annoying if you have more than 1000 files. other than those two things it is perfect.

Overall this is not a bad deck. My main gripe is that if you are going to sacrifice the CD player the ipod search function should be top notch. When searching your music library 95% percent of the time you have to start from the very begining of the alphabet. It is distracting and inconvienent. I found that the product description of the quicksearch feature is an outright lie, there is nothing quick about it. Another issue that is becoming more and more prevailent is you have to put the deck into video mode to set the clock. The brake and E-brake wires are looking for the exact opposite signal that vehicle supplies. This can be bypassed with a $30 module. I'm not paying $30 to set the clock on my $300 deck. I will more than likely just reconnect my battery at midnight.
