The sr65's play loud and clear. I have 100 watts going to each and they take it with ease. Great bang for the buck. Boston rox!

Previously bought Infinitys to replace aftermarket (Infinity) system and was sad of performance. Almost giving up tried Boston Acoustics SR65 and right out of the box I could see that these were a little smaller than original 6.5 speakers. I am more than glad that I did install these speakers. The SR65 were a good price. More than Infinity previous bought but worth every penny! Not a firm beleiver of getting what you paid for but when it comes to speakers Boston Acoustics will be the only way to go!!! These speakers have been installed for 5mo and yes they do break in after a couple weeks. Running Infinity amp and listen to Rock and wife listens to R&B.

I have had Bostons in three of my auto's and in my theatre room. They never disappoint! Definitely recommend these speakers. Not too 'tingy or extreme highs', more realistic and smooth sound.

Anyone who's had Boston Acoustics speakers knows they're amazing. The only thing I could say negative about these is that they are weak in the bass department. Then again, if like me you're looking for a full range speaker that can survive the front channels of a 75 x 4 watt RMS rated amp while you bridge the rear channels to a sub or two, then these are for you. Any way you shake it, these are one of the best high wattage full range (minus bass) you'll find. I dare anyone to find something more accurate.

I'm pleased with the SR65s. They have much crisper highs and a bit more defined bass than the single-cone stock speakers that were in the Odyssey front doors. But, they're still only 6-1/2 inch speakers. One note: Although the website said they would fit my van, I had to cut away the factory drip shield inside the speaker mounting hole. No big deal. I reinstalled the factory grills.
BTW, I also run an 8-inch Boss amplified subwoofer between the van's front seats.
