this is a great tweeter. it can be harsh but that is why they have settings on the crossover. The inverted dome does displace music in all directions there fore location can be anywhere and it sounds good almost as if they are kick panels.

I have 6 of these tweeters and when I first tested them off my home surround sound system, they were amazingly clear (no nasty ring can be heard in your ears while these are playing.....maybe after you turn them off you will get one :) ) and you could walk right next to it and it sounds like the tweeter is pointed directly at you. They also look pretty nifty if you remove the screen and add the little protective pins. They go up to 32,000 Hz so if you get these, do them some respect and get an amp that can support that high of frequency.
