This kit worked out very well for me to install a pair of amplifiers in my Toyota Matrix. I have never installed speakers and a pair of amplifiers before. The install went well thanks to the kit having all the wire and connectors that I needed with a couple of unique exceptions. The kit included fuses for the major power lines. If I have a problem in the future these fuses will be good insurance. It also had a display that I mounted in my engine compartment that displays the voltage reading of my car battery. This is a way cool addition. The extra wires that were not included were because I needed a new wire for my subwoofer and I needed an extra RCA cable from my head unit. I am very happy with the kit and very happy with the install.

A few issues with this product: 1) The LED display of the fuse holder didn't work requiring me to box it up and send it back. Really annoying having to a brand new amp and can't listen to because I'm waiting on a single part to be replaced. 2) I wired a 5-channel amp which means I needed to purchase one more set of RCAs. Long story short Sonic doesn't sell an individual RCA to match what comes with the kit. In order to have everything match I had to buy them individually.

I purchased the Tsunami wiring kit to install two amplifiers that I had taken out of an old car to put in my current car. I have a four channel Alpine amplifier that I was installing to drive the front and back speakers in my car stereo environment. The amp will be driven from my new pioneer head unit with rca amp outputs. I also have an Alpine amplifier to drive the sub woofer mounted in the trunk. This unit supplied all the wiring to go from the battery through a fusible link and a voltage display to the amps. A junction block was provided to split the power to the two amps. A control wire was provided as was the rca wiring to drive the amps. The ground cable was provided that connected to the car ground, also a junction block and wiring to connect the ground to the two amps. Last speaker wiring was provided to run to the speakers. The wiring was heavy duty and the instructions adequate for me to do the job although I had never wired this set of equipment before. (previously the amps were professionally installed). The only two extra items I needed was a wire to drive the subwoofer and another RCA wire to drive the input to the amplifier driving the subwoofer. This was exactly what I needed and worked out very well. I would recommend this product for a similar installation.
