Remote
Bluetooth works great! The remote does work as it should mounted to the steering wheel. Have to repeatedly press the button for it to adjust the volume. Everythng else works fine.

I have had the deck for about a week and a half. So far so good. I would reccomend it for someone who is on the fence about it like i was. Its worth it with a few minor cons.
Pros:
- Bluetooth works GREAT! Phone integration and Voice commands are awesome. Been told i sound crystal clear.
- Ipod integration is awesome and the best part, it charges!
- A2DP works great
- Setup was easy. Mic cable was easy to route and setup. Also came with a USB extender that was long enough to run to my console between my seats.
Cons:
- No buttons for presets, you'll have to push the main knob up and down.
- Knob is flimsy and can easily push in the wrong direction.
- 7 band EQ isnt too bad, but i came from an older pioneer model with a 13 band EQ. Just a little personal con for me
-The text is a little small. Especially the clock

I have only had this unit hooked up to a bench set up to make sure all the features worked but from what i could tell great unit. menus were a little difficult to work with partially because of the knob partially because the display doesn't give good guidance my current phones not blue-tooth compatible so i cant remark on that but overall the unit is worth it.

Awesome Radio Overall. Sound Quality Is Surberb. Built In EQ Is On Point. Control Knob Is A Lil Hard To Use But Thats What The Remote Is For. Remote Doesnt Work That Well For Volume But The Direction Button Do Their Job, Remote is Way Small Also. Bluetooth Works Great For Both Phone And Music. Glad I Purchased It Overall

found this helpful.Great price, Blue tooth is awesome
Sonic's price made this a no brainer. The blue tooth works great with my cell phone. Base control is perfect. The only complaints I have, The remote control does not work when attached to the steering wheel, I have to point is directly at the head unit. The clock display is too small, making it almost useless. The tagging feature will not indicate a tag-able song while listening to FM or XM.

I have had the unit about 2 years. Performance is superb, but the human interface it terrible. You must read the manual for almost anything except changing volume. BT works great for months, then quits. Then it's like a Microsoft product, do the same thing and get different results. I finally wrote "cheat sheets" of exactly what buttons to press to link to my phone, which is an incredibly long series of press, poke, twist, etc. I repeat the process over and over until it links, after which it will work fine for months again???? While driving, I use the remote control and auto program feature to find stations. I could juggle milk bottles easier than use the front panel controls. Sound is superb, I have yet to find any CD I can't play, the USB and MP3 inputs are flawless, if only it had controls designed for drivers. I have seriously considered buying a Sony just to get controls I can learn.

The good:
Best sounding yet, low distortion and very quiet amps. Some older Pioneers I've had produced substantial hiss at low levels. That problem seems to have been solved in this series.
The BT phone interface works well. "Call" voice recognition uses your phone contact list and MUST be uploaded to the HU to function. "Dial" VR refers to direct number inputting which is not ready for prime time, IMO.
Pioneer now allows their DSP audio enhancer to be used on both CD's AND USB inputs. This makes a huge difference in sound and I highly recommend it.
This is the first Pioneer radio to have RDS in a long time. That feature is buried deep in the literature and is called iTaging for iPod's, however it will display FM radio RDS text as well.
Speaking of tuners...both the AM and FM band are fairly selective and have decent sensitivity. Some non-Pioneer units I've tried had very poor tuners, it was clear radio was low on the list.
The bad:
As usual, the clock is way to small to be of any real value and the sterile blue display easily gets washed out in bright light. Pioneer should remove those old stale background movies and devote that processing power to some more useful functions...like a BIG time display! Software can be user updated so perhaps that weakness may be addressed in a future upgrade...Pioneer, are you listening?
My 2 cents
