Circuit Breaker Specifications

Circuit Breaker Rating
Circuit breakers are used in place of fuses to protect an electrical device from a overload or short-circuit. Unlike fuses, circuit breaker do not need to be replaced whenever one "blows". Instead, simply flip the switch on the breaker and the connection is safely restored.

The circuit breaker rating is the number of amps that the unit has been rated at. The number of amps on a circuit breaker corresponds to the same number of amps needed when using fuses.

Great alternative to fuses!

June 5, 2012

I was always having a hard time blowing fuses since im always moving things around and upgrading stuff and what not. This makes it so easy to just pop the circuit and not have to worry about sparking fuses or covering up wires or anything like that. awesome
