Bought this to replace a 2004 rockford fosgate 12' subwoofer in a .97 cu foot box and it does seem to slam a litter harder but was kind disappointed with it, I have it hooked to a prime r500-1 amp putting out 525 rms so about 250 per speaker and like I said its ok. I wouldnt recommend this if your looking for some serious thump, but for a lil thump in a fancy box it does ok. When I get more moolah I think i'll just go with a nicer dvc 12' in a ported box..

these subwoofers are amazing, they look great and sound really good. i've had these subs for about 6 months and they rattle my trunk in my car like crazy. all the mirrors shake when i turn it up. my parents can hear me coming from 2 blocks away. great deal for the price, all my friends are jealous.
