This sub just wasnt up to par with what i expected. probably some of my own fault. it was just a temp sub anyways. Now im building an all kicker system, and of course buying it all through Sonic. Good prices, fast and usually free shipping.

All i gotta say...
2 of these, on a 2000 watt amp, and 2 of their big daddy 15s on 2 2000 watt amps.
amazing.

worth the money spent, wire terminals are pretty poor like other reviews mention, only cause you need an allen key( included) to clamp wires and the markings for pos and neg are painted in the key slot making potential for fading if overused. i listen to a lot of metal music of all sub genres and these hit really hard with breakdown bass drops and double kick blast beats. i occasionally listen to hiphop/rap and dubstep/trance/house music when im in the mood for a little more melodic and rythmic bass and not a wall of sound.

I bought it and it stoped working after 1 week of what i would call light use.

I bought two of these originally about a year ago, they worked well and hit very hard at 500w RMS each (both paralleled to 2ohm and then paralleled down to 1ohm on a mono amp)
However, about a month ago one of them started rattling as the magnet coil inside started to unravel and then blew one of the voice coils, after that voicecoil blew it caused the second sub to blow one of its own coils. I replaced the originally blown subwoofer and ran it solo at 2ohms for two hours before the coil inside the magnet unraveled on it, not to mention the basket was bent around the lip. I had to return this one (and pay for my own shipping....) and so far the fourth one is working alright, I still have to replace my other with only one working voice coil.
Bottom line, when they work they sound great and hit hard, but I would advise warming them up for a bit and not running them full blast immediately out of the box
Btw, worst terminal design ever
