Cerwin-Vega Stroker series subwoofers, like the STKR122, have been the standard by which other high performance subwoofer have been judged for over 20 years. The Stroker series subwoofers are only offered in a 12' size with either a Dual 2 ohm voice coil or Dual 4ohm voice coil. They have a power rating of 2400 watts peak and a whopping 1200 watts of continuous RMS power. In order to handle this much power the Stroker subwoofers use four-layer 3" edge wound voice coils that are able to handle extreme power in the most efficient way possible. In order to really hit those lower frequencies the woofers are equipped with a fixed sub-sonic filter at 18dB that increases lower-frequency reproduction making these woofers competition worthy. A removable cone assembly allows for quick and easy field serviceability that allows for fast replacement of damaged parts to keep your music bumping without long interruptions. U-Term speaker terminals form a solid connection that is secure even when the woofers are performing at their peak power giving the woofers undisturbed signal for continuous play.
