i bought this sub i have it wired to 2 ohms on a rockford fosgats p-300.1 amp in an absolute ported 15" box with a install bay 4ga. amp kit and i have no complaints its not going to shatter glass or win nopi national sound contest but you will be heard with it. the guy who wrote the first review must not have his amp tuned right or got a cheaper amp cause my sub holds 414 watts rms @ 2ohm just fine and it is clean deep bass. i recommend this sub to any body on a slim budget to get there moneys worth remember you get what you pay for with subs.

I bought this sub a couple months back and I was not impressed at first. At first it hit pretty much everything pretty bad. Then I tried getting a new box just in case and that definitely fixed the problem. The box cannot be too small or too big. You have to be very careful with that for this sub. It can't handle the full 300 at 4 ohms. It might at about 1 but my amp can't go that low. It can rattle your car a bit but it wont shake the car next to you. If you looking for 130 db + bass, I would try something better than this. Any re audio, jl audio. or sound stream subs would all be able to do that if you get some of the higher up models. If your just starting out and want some nice, clean. low bass. This would be great.
