Clean and Loud
I've just received two of these subs in a trade within a ported box, and WOW THESE THINGS POUND! I would recommend these subs for anyone that has a powerful amp and good box to go with it. This is a must. Not to mention the rubber surround is durable and big.

Great subs! I have two in a custom SPL box tuned to 34hz. Sound and look better than rockford p3's. My roof got sucked in so now I'm working on pounding the dents out. The girls say they feel great!

I got two of the Orion XTR PRO 15's 2 ohm in a 10 cubic foot vented box tuned to 36hz and it pounds!!
Very good speaker for the price. I do want to say that they are a little underrated at 500 watts. I have mine sitting at about 900 watts a piece and they handle them just fine. I've played them very hard and long and have not smelled the voice coils burn yet (knock on wood).
I am very hard on my subs and have burned a few up in the past.. these I expect to last a while. They perform very well and sound great.
I do know that they will go down all the way to 10 hz and play the loudest at 40 hz then tapering off at 100 hz.. Frequency sweep track to test the correctness of the box design and sub response.
Shook the steering wheel and column at 30 hz! Gets pretty good window flex at the local Starbucks too.
