This sub was made to do one thing, Get Loud! If your looking for utmost sound quality this sub isn't for you but if your looking to get amazingly loud and retain some clarity this sub is for you. I would recommend everyone who buys this sub to put it in the biggest ported enclosure (up to 3.25 Cuft per woofer) and tune to about 38Hz. I've had this sub in a sealed box and it is a totally different beast in a ported enclosure. Now I'm going to have to figure out what to do about my rattling rear window. :)

These subs are insane.. They are the most versatile sub i have ever seen or heard.. My buddy has them in a silverado with boxes that are WAY to small they are only about 1 cubic foot of air space.. And they still pound like there is no tommorow

I have 2 of these subs in a ported box and they are insane. Everyone who even comes near the car says they are the loudest subs they ever heard...and thats only half way up...mine are louder than any JL audio sub for half the price

This is absolutely the hardest hitting sub on the market for its price. With 1500 watts of power it is enough bass for your whole car and probably everybody surrounding that your keeping awake at night. KICKER has really been impressive within the last few years, with my KICKER ported box my sound system became flawless.
