High Quality Bass at an Affordable Price
If you are looking for a great deal on a high-end subwoofer, then you stumbled upon one of the best deals out there! For those that haven't looked at our other Eclipse products, Sonic Electronix is proud to offer you the best prices on these brand new Eclipse products. The Eclipse SW8010 is another exclusive deal that we are having on these Japanese electronics. This particular subwoofer is not one to be underestimated. Behind it's basic design and simplistic structure is a powerful subwoofer that will play loud and clear. Easily handling 700 watts continually, the SW8010 works very well with high output amplifiers. It features an anodized alloy cone woofer with a multi-layer surround for greater strength, as well was smoother response and excellent excursion. On the back of the sub are three magnets totaling a overall weight of 58 oz! The triple stacking of the magnets help the subwoofer manage the amount of power that it is able to accept. It's frequency response rating is 18-200 Hz, which is perfect for achieving all the low frequencies you music can produce. You will be able to hear (and feel) all the bass you can handle! Even though this subwoofer is only a 10", it is often mistaken for being a 12" (and sometimes a 15") because of it's loud and efficient output. You wont find a deal like this anywhere else on the internet. This exclusive deal wont last long, so act fast and get some quality Eclipse bass in your car!

I switched out my 1.25 sealed/polyfilled box per chamber box/ with a ported box which is actually only .9/polyfill per chamber and it slams a lot harder. It was a premade box but an expensive one. I wasn't thrilled bout it being smaller then the sealed and was worried it would make no impact to even make it worse but to my surprise the bass got way harder. A lil uglier on some songs where the sealed was more crisp. I may see if I can have a new one built to make it a lil bigger but if I go to big it completely blocks off my trunk and doesnt allow bass to get into the car,

First let me say that I jumped on this simply because it was 100 bucks shipped. I am powering it with the sub channel off of a Audison 5.1k. At 4 ohms and 12 volts it should be seeing about 650 RMS conservatively. I built a ported enclosure as well as a sealed enclosure to test the sub in both. It became apparent pretty quickly that this sub is extremely power hungry. That being said, with the right power I think this sub would be an absolute low-end monster. If you are considering this sub, make sure you can feed it at around 1500 real RMS watts. I think it would take that easily on a daily basis. I'm not sure where they came up with the 700 RMS figure, but it's not even close to what this sub needs. The TSP's indicate this as well.
