Raising the Competition with Kicker's CompVT Series
Kicker is a very well known company within the car audio industry and are constantly striving to be the best in innovation, quality, and power output. Their 2010 shallow mount CompVT series subwoofer accomplish all of those qualities and more. This series of subwoofer is available in various sizes with different power ratings to suit any preference desired. The single 2 ohm or 4 ohm version allows for multiple wiring configurations, giving the subwoofer some true versatility. The CompVT features a shallow mount design which is perfect for those with limited space but that still want a subwoofer that can really hit. The built-in steel clearance adapter plate, allows for real shallow installations by replacing part of the enclosure wall. These subwoofers are equipped with an injection molded SoloKon cone woofer and ribbed Santoprene surround for rigidity and optimum performance. The use of stitched surrounding enhances the strength of the cone giving you a product that you can depend on for a long period of time. Spring loaded terminals make installation quick and easy with an added secure connection. The CompVT uses a ventless pole piece and high temperature, shallow four-layer voice coil for heat dissipation. This reduces distortion and increases cleaner power output. Its shallow mount design and other features make the CompVT subwoofer perfect for any installation or application.

These are some of the best subs I have been around I have a single can truck and they fit perfect behind the seat. I have an 80 dollar boss amp and they still hit really hard they shake my back window a lot and just rattle everything. These things are the best!

These speakers are a great value for their price. They hit verry hard but are a little distorted when compared to higher value subs. They fit great under the back of my 08 sierra crew and i'm verry happy with my purchase. Thanks Sonic!

I bought this sub for to go behind my the seat of my crew cab f-250. Major pain to get it to fit properly. Finally got it in there and it will not handle the lows like my 15 year old JL 8's will. Good sub if all you listen to is that head bangin' rock or metal. Not so good for hitting the lows or sustaining a long bass line. Found that it liked to bottom out a lot also. This is a good place to buy from tho.
