Functionality at your Fingertips
The new line of Pioneer head units are definitely ones to talk about. The AVH-P5200BT is on the list of 2010 receivers that are sure to impress anyone who comes in contact with it. It has a 7” TFT-LCD Touchscreen display with a flip-out screen, making it perfect for someone who wants all the features of a Double DIN receiver, but in a single DIN size. The intuitive controls allow you to make changes by tapping, swiping or dragging your finger across the screen. The advanced iPod and iPhone controls are easily used with these controls. The iPod information can be accessed by using the front USB Input and an iPod connector cable. It allows you to search audio and video content by category including movies, music videos, TV Shows, artists, songs and they are then listed alphabetically for easy access to each file. The AVH-P5200BT offers Link Search which is a list of song related to the song currently playing, matching your mood. This is a perfect addition for someone who only wants to listen to Rap, Country and Pop related songs.
Bluetooth Made Easy
The integrated Bluetooth technology allows you to pair your cell phone for hands-free phone call streaming and dialing by using the included microphone. When paired with your phone, the music will go on mute for an incoming call and then turns the music back on when the conversation is finished. By having this feature, you can keep your eyes on the road ensuring a safe trip every time. The headunit will display the caller's information while the conversation is being played through your door speaker. The V2.0 Bluetooth allows the receiver to be paired with as many as 5 cell phones at any given time. This is useful is someone else drives your car, or if a friend is in your car and would like to use the Bluetooth option.

GREAT unit! Clear screen, very user friendly, great reception and awesome extras (providing you pay for the extra kits for GPS, XM, and Sirius Radio, Back-up cam) appearance is sleek yet simple it looks good. Fairly customizable upload pics change color settings and such. Good equalizer (Auto Equalizer is pretty good but you need an external mic). There are only two cons so far 1. The radio is kinda confusing me a little on scrolling through my presets but I think I'm just doing something wrong lol 2. you cant ground out the brake cable to play video on the go (you can however install a two way switch which i did its easy but if you're like me you need to conceal/hide away the switch and that can be difficult sometimes)

Just installed in september all reviews were so good but not for me i would say my old unit a Power Acoustik was much much better. Ya i know it is not user friendly like i read it would be and the Pioneer CD-IU50V for video got it to work for about 4 video`s i tried my iPhone-& 2 of my iPods, no good, upgraded to HD radio, will not work! I really wish they could of made a detachable face.

I bought this because i have been needing a new stereo, and i wanted a dvd player. This is a great unit. I actually bought this one over the 300 dollar "offbrands" because I love the settings for your speakers. The Pioneer brand has always had great settings so i can set my speakers to play certain frequences so i dont blow my speakers. While playing a dvd, it looks almost like it is HD! Took longer to install due to more wires just because it also has video.
