True Power You Can Feel

The T1D210 Power Series 10" Subwoofer by Rockford Fosgate has a peak power rating of 1200 watts and a RMS rating of 600 watts. This sub will produce some ground shaking bass and is constructed with a kevlar fiber reinforced semi pressed paper cone and a VAST santoprene rubber surround. This woofer is also equipped with Inductive Damping Heat Sink, this helps radiate heat to reduce the voice coil temperature and keeps the sub operating at a safe operating temperature when pumping out high amounts of SPL. Making installation faster and easier, Rockford Fosgate developed SWIFT terminals. This system allows the nominal impedance of voice coils to quickly be configured in a Series or Parallel wiring configuration. Removing and inverting the center plug, a Series or Parallel wiring configuration is accomplished. The removable jumper also provides fused protection in severe overload conditions.

IDHS: Inductive Damping Heat Sink

By securing the Inductive Dampening Heat Sink (IDHS) to the top of the magnet structure, Rockford Fosgate is able to improve the efficiency of their drivers. This is accomplished by reducing the amount of distortion and back Electro-Magnetic Force (EMF). The IDHS also radiates heat to reduce the temperature in the voice coil.

Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former

By using an anodized aluminum voice coil former on their subwoofers, Rockford Fosgate is able to dissipate heat from the voice coil more efficiently. A hot voice coil can melt the adhesive bonds, which will lead to eventual subwoofer failure. The aluminum voice coil former acts as a heat-sink to dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil cool during high SPL conditions.

Subwoofer Design

Sealed: These enclosures completely enclose the air inside the box. These boxes produce a tight bass.

Ported/Vented: These enclosures have a slot of air to escape from the box. The result is a sound that has more "boom".

Bandpass: These are a combination of both sealed and ported enclosures. They can be very efficient, but require tuning for the best response.

A descent sub for the average person, I stress average, this sub will not blow you away or pound like a competition sub. If looking for a ground shaking sub look somewhere else like Sundown, Atomic etc...but if you want just a little bass then go ahead.

None Better for the Price!

I have always been an MTX guy but I have heard some installs of RF and have found them to be somewhat OK (backyard install type of deal). After buying my new Silverado I decided to Drop one 10" underneath the rear passenger seat just to give me that good clean sound of music that you come to grow fond of and need. Well I was Shocked!! This thing POUNDS!! I have it hooked to a RF p500.2 bridged @ 500 watts RMS. The birth sheet has it going @ 734 watts RMS. So I have it turned down just a touch and it plays LOUD and CLEAR at ALL levels with no issues even with it being run close to max RMS. Seriously thinking of dropping one or two more in now. Best bang for your Buck!!!

I was very skeptical about fosgates products. All I've ever used are Jl w7's, but I do not have the Jl slash series amps anymore therefore chose to try a different sub. Bought one t1 dual 2ohm 10 matched with an old school crossfire vr1000d. This thing blew me away. Crisp clean bass. She goes low and no offense to Jl (my all time fav) this 10 whoops on the w7 10 all day everyday. Fosgate calls for 1.75 cu ft ported. Go bigger! 1.95cu ft is better for this sub. Powered right, one sub is all you need.

Power this sub correctly and this thing will strait get DOWN....it hits harder then 2 pioneer 12s i used to have hands down.. and WAY better sound quality ... my girl don't even want to ride in the same car anymore lol!!! BUY THIS SUBWOOFER YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT
