Certified Output and Reliable Efficiency
High powered subwoofer applications tend to generate plenty of heat to the amplifier powering them. Music can only be enjoyed when an amplifier is on, and when an amplifier reaches high temperatures it will usually shut off to protect from it damage. The Kenwood KAC-8105D has a built-in heatsink to protect from high temperatures so your system can play longer without having forced intermissions.
With an impressive output rating of 300 watts RMS x 1 Channel at 4 Ohms, and 500 watts RMS x 1 Channel at 2 Ohms, this amplifier is CEA-2006 compliant so all wattage specifications are true to industry standard. Combined with their total efficiency and high power output, the Kenwood KAC-8105D is the perfect option for any compatible subwoofer application!

Amp pushes 500w RMS at 2 ohms which is perfect for my two MTX Terminator twelves that are rated 300w each so its giving them both a solid 250w. I've taken it on multiple 3 hour trips and has never overheated. For those of you bridging your amp and complaining about them overheating, you need to buy a monoblock. Bridging puts much more stress on the amp and you can get the same power output from a monoblock without putting additional streets on the unit. Sounds great for a low wattage system.

I 100% recommend this product. I have this amp in my 2008 jeep pushing my 2 12 pioneer comps and I have yet to have a problem. It sounds great all day and never overheats. Bottom line, i would recommend this product to a friend.
