Blue button lighting, variable color illumination, MP3 ID3 tag display, selectable wallpapers and customizable back grounds provide a personalized and easy to read display.
This Kenwood Receiver has some great audio features as well. The built in CR-2 Tuner supplies you with 18 FM presets and 6 AM presets, allowing you to program all your favorite radio stations to this receiver. Kenwood’s Source Tone Memory feature allows you to store System Q-EX and tone settings for each source. Dual Zone capability allows the playing of separate sources to the front of the vehicle and the rear of the vehicle. The incredible sound quality of Kenwood’s DNX-5160 comes from the System Q-EX sound shaper, 3-band parametric EQ with 6 preset tone curves, 24-bit digital to analog converter, and the built-in decoding for Dolby Digital.
Expandability options for this Player are not limited. Sirius and XM Satellite radio has two packages if you are interested in those services. Bluetooth Ready will provide a complete hands-free operation when receiving or making a call from inside your vehicle. With the built-in rear USB port, you will have full control with the latest iPods and iPhones, giving you even more playback options. NAVTEQ Traffic Tuner Ready, HD Radio, and full compatibility with your steering wheel controls are just some other expandability options that make a top notch Kenwood Receiver.

I installed this in a 2005 Yukon denial and it works great. The Bose speakers sound 10 x better with this head unit. The picture on the DVD is very clear. The GPS works just like a stand alone Garmin. We are very pleased with this unit.

I will say that the Kenwood unit is well thought out. One of the great things I love about it is that I can burn 4.7 GB of MP3s onto a DVD and play it in the car. Hours upon hours of music. The navigation is dead on and so much more accurate than my old suction cup unit. I bought the IPOD/Iphone cable and though it works fine (alittle jumpy since upgrading to an Iphone 4) after realizing that I could do the DVD thimg I just haven't used it. I didn't get the bluetooth phone version and I regret it. Hell you spend this much money you should go all the way...oh well...next time. I was going to upgrade my VW EOS speakers but truthfully it really rocks them out so I'm good for now.
