dual 4 ohm voice coils for wiring flexibility (with a
compatible amp)
aluminum deposit cone -- a beautiful look with less cone flex and less distortion
rear-cone brace for added strength to reduce cone flex under stress
Santoprene rubber surround
Massive surround radius provides increased excursion for low bass output and higher SPL
BAM (Basket and Motor) Enhanced Assembly: new for 2004 -- cast aluminum basket featuring low profile/open design that provides a solid anti-resonant foundation for the motor assembly
Perimeter venting which relieves pressure for a more linear response and aids in keeping the voice coils cool
Patent Pending Stitched Surround that aids in preventing cone/surround separation at high excursions
Sleeved high-power tinsel lead wires to resist lead breakage
Spring-loaded nickel plated terminals for solid connections with large gauge speaker wire

I got this for my sisters system and it hits very hard. It ended up popping out some the panneling in the car. Very good sub but needs a lot of watts to push it.

this is a $400 sub. L5 is only $200. the L5 i think is a much better value. Of course it won't be as loud but for the money i think the L5 is a better deal. Half the price. 2 L5s will beat 1 L7, and for the money it would be just about equal(for subs only, amp would be different)

This is a very good speaker i currently have two of them hooked up to a ma audio amp the one that is on the home page and it hits hard i mean really hard i know people say 15 inch speakers dont sound to good but these sound better than the L5 12s that i had.
loved there customer service department, they helped me choose all the products, and saved me from making a big mistake. customer service is 100% better than most if not all other online car stereo sites
