- dual 4 ohm voice coils for wiring flexibility (with a
compatible amp)
- aluminum deposit cone -- a beautiful look with less cone flex and less distortion
- rear-cone brace for added strength to reduce cone flex under stress
- Santoprene rubber surround
- Massive surround radius provides increased excursion for low bass output and higher SPL
- BAM (Basket and Motor) Enhanced Assembly: new for 2004 -- cast aluminum basket featuring low profile/open design that provides a solid anti-resonant foundation for the motor assembly
- Perimeter venting which relieves pressure for a more linear response and aids in keeping the voice coils cool

- Sleeved high-power tinsel lead wires to resist lead breakage
- Spring-loaded nickel plated terminals for solid connections with large gauge speaker wire

I had one for a short while and during that time it pounded really hard, it was in too small of box but if enclosed in a nice big box, it would have annihilated

I got this for my sisters system and it hits very hard. It ended up popping out some the panneling in the car. Very good sub but needs a lot of watts to push it.

this is a $400 sub. L5 is only $200. the L5 i think is a much better value. Of course it won't be as loud but for the money i think the L5 is a better deal. Half the price. 2 L5s will beat 1 L7, and for the money it would be just about equal(for subs only, amp would be different)
