This is a easy to install system. Works great, good sound. But I listen to books on cd not music. So the sound is very clear.

I bought the 6 disc instead of the 12 because it gave me a bit more usable trunk space. BTW the car is a classic `70 GTO, so i was trying to be discrete. The unit had to be located and shipped to the main warehouse which was a bit of a delay but the sonic people were very polite about it. It works very well, no negative issues at all. As you know, it works off your FM so you have to find spot on the dial and away you go. You now are hearing CD tracks.
I especially like the wired remote because it`s small you could mount it on Velcro to the dash or keep it out of site in the console if you want. At night it lights up nice and is very easy to navigate the controls. BTW there is a remote control but i never use it.

I installed this disc changer in the trunk of a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. But first, I was extremely satisfied with the speedy shipping and GREAT prices SonicElectronics has to offer The Pioneer CDX-FM687 disc changer is an AWESOME unit. It was an easy install, looks great, and functions beyond expectations. We have travelled down many rough roads and have NEVER heard this thing skip! Also, the in-cab display screen fits practically anywhere and STAYS there with the quality adhesive velcro included with purchase. Thanks Again Sonic Electronics, A+ service!

Researched several multi disc players to put into 2008 F150 Ford Truck. Bought this one, had it installed by individual that does stereo installation. It is mounted behind the driver seat and does not skip. Well worth the money, hand held device is between middle and driver seat so it is easily accessed. Glad I went with the Pioneer. Installation person recommend it was a good one also.

I've owned this CD changer for a few months now and I don't recall ever hearing it skip. It's located in the back corner of my GMC Jimmy so it takes some bumps, too. I like the pause button on the controls and the remote is a nice feature, even tho I've never really needed to use it yet. I would definitely recommend this CD changer.
