For this reason, Grado uses the highest quality mahogany wood for the air chambers on the Grado RS2i headphones. The natural material minimizes resonance, while retaining a sophisticated look. Beyond the mahogany construction is a 40mm vented diaphragm driver with a UHPLC copper voice coil. The 8-conductor cables that connect all the components help create a warm and accurate sound, with all the details and clarity you would expect from a Grado headphone.

The included ear cushions for the Grado RS2i headphones are very light on the ears to assist in long listening sessions. Grado refers to their unique cushions as a Supra-aural foam ear cushion. If the included cushion does not satisfy your needs, Grado sells additional cushions in shapes and sizes that are easily replaceable.
