6 months ago, I purchased these, and a set of Powerbass S-693s for my 2000 Chrysler Voyager. I installed them myself with the help of some diagrams on the internet, and I've been bumpin tunes ever since. No issues with install, and they sound great. Acceptable amount of bass mated to my cheap 35w RMS Jensen DVD/iPod/CD/MP3 unit. Mids and Highs sound great, and have little to no distortion when cranked.
A friend of mine who does SPL suggested these as a low cost solution, and SonicElectronix as a great place to buy from! I can honestly say he right on both counts, and I'll be buying a drop down to complete my setup from SE within the next few months!

Replaced my oem speakers and for the prics you can''t beat them. Can handle some bass and the tweeters can get loud. Very crisp good sounding music produced.

I put the 5 1/4' PowerBass S-522 in a friends 87 Chevy 3/4 ton plow truck that was so loud with the flowmasters and the plow dragging on the ground, NOW all you can hear is the radio and it sounds good.
