Got a pair of 10's about seven years ago for a couple hundred bucks. Sounded great then. I took them out when I traded that car in, and hadn't used them in nearly four years. I just traded that vehicle in, and decided to put these in the new car along with new JLAudio 6.5's and an Alpine 4 channel amp. The speaker shop snob laughed and said they were junk, but I didn't want to spend another half grand so I said put them in anyway. When I went to pick up my car, they thumped like crazy. Sounded amazing with that Alpine. He tried to say anything would sound good with that amp, but I knew these were good speakers.

I bought 2 of these subs in nov 2005, it is february 2012, i put them to work @ full volume nearly every time i get in the car, and they are still beating strong. I have them running on a 900rms (450rms x2 @2ohm) kicker amp and they take every watt and beg for more! I have them in an mtx sledgehammer slot vented box. I love the way they sound, if they ever do blow, i will be on a mission to find another pair. It is a shame they are discontinued.

I really can't comment on the price of this sub since the one I have was given to me for free but i do know that I have this thing hooked up to a 600W amp. With the way I have it set up, if i turn my system up about halfway, the sub hits hard enough to give a back massage in the front seats. I wish I could find another once to pair it with but alas they have been discontinued.

This sub sounds great for how cheep it is! i have this hooked up to a 1250 SPL amp running 570rms to a single sub wired at 2 ohms and it withheld that much power for 3 months then it blew! Still is a great sub for 27 bucks i would say BUY IT! YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH IT!
