The PowerBass Xtreme XL-104D subwoofer is made with cutting edge materials that improve the sound quality of the subwoofer, as well as lengthen the life of it. On the surface, PowerBass uses a proprietary 4-layer, non-pressed paper cone with a Dynamic Damping Coating (DDC) for deeper bass without distortion. Attached to the cone is a high-roll santoprene surround which increases the cone area and excursion, while retaining exceptional linear stability. Inside the car subwoofer is a Pure EIW wire voice coil attached to a vented BASV voice coil former. Combined these result in high energy transfer and optimal performance.
