This was an upgrade from a much older sub - from one cone to two. Very good product, well worth the money. Only potential issue is the lower cone on the bottom of the unit is not protected. If someone does not know that or forgets and attempts to lift the unit off the floor I could easily see a finger or two damaging the exposed cone.
