The Nixeus Fusion HD is a Full HD Network (Wi-Fi N and Ethernet) Multimedia Player that is designed to playback your digital movies, photos, and music onto your TV. Integrated with the latest Sigma Designs chipset allows the Nixeus Fusion HD to playback most file formats available today. Plus, the FusionHD is also compatible with BitTorrent clients for downloading content and other digital files.
The Nixeus Fusion HD can be connected directly to your local network allowing you to stream digital content from your PC or UPnP Server onto your TV using networking streaming. The Fusion HD allows you to install a 3.5” Internal SATA HDD up to 2 TB, plug-in, External Hard Drive Device or USB Flash Stick and access all your multimedia files. Picked one of these bad boys up after reading reviews on it. I wasn't really aware of a product like this, as in the past I would back or copy DVD's to watch it back on my TV. After fumbling through the many DVD's and CD's I have I got tired of the disc laying around and researched products like the Nixeus NX-1000. Finally pulled the trigger on one of the Nixeus Fusion NX-1000, and installed a 1.5 Terabyte hard drive. Now literally I can store up to over 300 DVD's copies onto this device! No more need to hassle through DVD disc no longer!
I like it so far, with other features like YouTube and a Simple Web Browser. One thing I wish it had was to connect to my component TV, as current setup only has Composite and HDMI. But at least it can display resolution up to 1080P @ 60hz. Overall really great product that I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a centralized Entertainment Jukebox and also for those individuals who download and want to watch on there TV instead of their Laptop/Mac's/PC's.

Got my Fusion HD today and unpacked it out of the box and it looks very solid and well built. I disassembled the unit as per the quick install guide and fitted a 1Tb HDD into it. Connected it to my TV and to my audio system and turned it on. Went through the setup process which was a breeze to do and was very easy. From the easy to use main menu i was able to go and play my videos or my music and also my home photos from the internal hard drive or from my NAS box too. Pretty much played back everything i threw at it so i am quite pleased with this product. I also found that accessing youtube videos or going to flickr and other similar places was a simple and easy affair too. The Fusion HD will hold pride of place in my home entertainment system now.
