These were by far the best speakers i have herd for the price. The 3-way is the way to go i have them running on a 300/4 jl amp and they scream. I can turn them up so loud its ridiculous, only the 4" needs the 1k range turned down.

I got a pair of these with a JL audio 300/2 amp pushing them in my Infiniti G35. These speakers absolutly blow everything else away. The 3 piece component system is a bit difficult to install as most cars only have places for 2 pieces. Once installed though this system absolutly rocks!! Definatly reccomend it if you are looking for some serious high quality sound!

For the price and sound quality you can't go wrong with these! I'm powering these with a RF P450.4 amp with input gain at half turn and no distortion.I know it can take alot more, but need to break them in slowly. I installed the JL XR653-CS 1" tweeters on the front corner of door,4" mids in stock location on dash and 6 1/2" in lower part of front door in my '06 Dodge Magnum. I'm planing on getting a second set just to make for even better imaging.1"Highs are not over powering, vocals on 4"mids very clear and 6 1/2"mid bass is very tight sometimes i just turn down the subs because its so good.
