Da Blues
I replaced old, dried out, subwoofers on my 650 W. home stereo speaker box with a couple of these. They sounded as good or better as my old ones. I'm happy that I didn't need an amp for them. Snapped on my chrome grilles and they look sharp. For my living room, they sound good enough for me. Not concerned whether neighbors hear them, like them, or dislike them. They're for my own personal pleasure.

A long time ago running it on an alpine 5 channel amp. Actually held up the two years I had it playing. Actually ended up giving the sub to my cousin along with a few other subs because at the time I had no room for them. I regret it. I had the 12 inch version and it actually did pretty good for what I needed. People thought I actually had 2 12s but I built the box a pretty good size. If you want some bass that won't break the bank go with Pyle Blue wave in this series. Pretty well built for the price. I actually paid $63 for mine new back in 2005. If I want another small budget setup Im going with these.

I have two 12 pyle's in my car and I make people turn heads on the highway. I am a college student and do NOT have a lot of money and for the money these are CRAZY subs. These subs play higher RMS than anything and sound amazing. Everyone asks my why my license plate shakes and I tell them it is because of the
Pyles. Definitely a good buy.

used pyle for years no problems, the guy that smelled the speakers melting, well that what happens when you miss match impedance. make sure you know the output impedance of your stereo. just so you know pyle is a good product, not perfect but good. and if they last two years, well remember what you payed for them, as for me I would keep buying them and enjoy.

I bought 2 of these paired with a 1000.1 crunch amp wich is only 500 watts rms at 1ohm and i can smell these speakers melting. Their hit is on par but not as loud as i would like them to be for sure. I would be happier if they weren't freaking burning up and handled the wattage they state on the spec sheet. Them not being loud enough is my fault, this crappy setup replaced my punch 1000.1 bd paired with x2 12" P3s in a factory fosgate box. That was a amazing setup.

i bought this sub a month ago, It was powered by a 680 sony explode amp and the sub worked good for about two days then all hell broke loose I put one song on with low bass and the sub blew. it cannot handle very hard hitting bass. you'd be better off buying a $30 sub.
