Dynamat Xtreme Speaker Kit

Dynamat Xtreme is a patented, lightweight elastomeric butyl and aluminum constrained-layer vibrational damper. The Xtreme Series adapts and conforms easily to sheet metal and other hard metals vehicles are made of. This material works best for temperature ranges between 14° 140° but can withstand ranges between -65° - 300°.

Xtreme Applications

The Xtreme Speaker Kit is great for improving the overall sound quality in your vehicle by cutting out unwanted road noise. It is typically used on vehicles to reduce vibrations and rattles on car door or rear deck lid where your speakers are located. This kit includes two 10" x 10" sheets combining for a total of 1.38 square feet.

Easy to Install

Use scissors, a knife or a die to cut the Xtreme to the desired size and shape before removing the release liner. Next, remove dust, grease, moisture, and other foreign matter from the application surface. Now its time to peel off the release liner and start applying. The easiest way to apply is to bend the mat slightly and attach it along its shortest edge. Using a roller, press the mat tightly into place, the roller will help eliminate unwanted air pockets. There is no need for heating the material, for best results the application surface should not be below room temperature.

Works well but the price is a bit too

March 26, 2013

Dynamat extreme is the original deadener and the product works well. It's a little thin compared to competition. And the price is just way too high for what has become a commodity in mobile audio

My first Dynamat product and it was love at first sight. The installation was easy. The Kit comes with more than enough product to cover any door covering. Great buy from SonicElectronix.

It is very heavy duty material. Easy to use. Only thing is, for both vehicle doors to be covered; you need quite alot of it. It can be expensive.

Transmission Noise

May 23, 2011

I used this in my 2006 Mustang GT when I installed my new Hurst shifter. They are bad about having lots on tranny mouse coming through the shift boot so I put some of the dynamat around it and works great. Sound quieter than stock

Good!

June 8, 2010

The dynamat extreme kit is good. Easy to apply, and seems to dampen speaker vibrations. Buying a bulk pack seems like a better option, allowing for more coverage and a greater impact on sound quality.

See the difference!

October 17, 2007

I have these installed in my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse and I can tell the difference. My back panels and front panels used to vibrate and rattle, but with these in, you can tell the difference. I turn my volume up, and it doesn't get anymore distorted. Sound flows straight out of the speaker and rattling is gone. EASY INSTALL! For $13, you get enough Dynamat for a pair of speakers, and its worth every last penny. Dynamat should charge more because these are worth it
