The NLP254S has been designed for those marine applications where space can be an issue. With only 2.83 inches of mounting depth, the NLP254S can fit in any bench seat, gunnel or shallow compartment without giving up much space at all. Designed to perform optimally in free-air applications, the NLP254S will also perform in as small as .45 cubic feet sealed if you so desire. Good value but somewhat disappointed
Just installed 2 in my Baja 27' and have them powered by a Rockford Fosgate 950 watt amp. I'm some what disappointed in the output based on the nearly 1000 watts going in. They don't have as good a response as the cheaper Pyles they replaced. Granted they are not a very pricey Sub but I would have expected more. Also installation hardware minimum. I had to suppliment to complete a quality install.
