Did not fit the year. I believe 86' may be a change over. It is not uncommon for Scosche to just lump model years in together in this way.

May fit other years, decently enough, but the quality of this unit (how it snaps together) is sub-standard for what else is out there in the $5-20 range.

I bought this dash kit for my 1997 Honda Accord. It is easy to install, no trimming for my car, and it is durable! It's most definitely NOT "cheap poop". Great buy for the buck.

The item fit the car audio system and my car.
But it is easy to be broken and my audio was unfortunately stolen 3 month after I installed.
If you want to avoid this you might chose another item which you can fix tight with screws, or use audio with detachable front panel and make sure you bring it out when you leave the car.
