Got these for a friends car that had tired old factory speakers failing her. Put these in, and they work perfectly. We all know that feeling after you hook them up and turn the radio on, its the real test, and these passed with flying colors. Perfect for running off the deck power. Great sound for 5-1/4's.

If you read my other review on the JVC CS-V6937 you should have a good Idea in what im going to say about these. With the back 6X9's, these bad boys in the front and having all this powered by my JVC Arsenal KD-A815 deck considered I got my deck at the local pawn shop and these two speakers (the 4 1/2 and 6X9's) for a total of 69.00 with free shipping. I couldn't be any happier with the system I have now in my car. Overall the sound quality with having stock tweeters already in my car on the dash and having the 2 way and 3 way speaker around the rest of the car really delivers (all Hz frequencies) of sound all the way around the cabin of the car. All of my guy friends (and lady friends) ;) think i own a multiple hundred dollar system and when the chance comes if they option to ride in mine or some else's ride rises, most of the time they come with me. The set up I have I would recommend to any one that's either tight on cash or simply wants to just upgrade the sound quality greatly and not put a huge dent in their wallet in doing so. These speakers rock and for the price you can't go wrong at all.
