So i got this sub and had it wired at 2 ohms on a boss ce1800m amp which puts out 900rms at 2 ohms. The stats on this sub say it handles 900rms but clearly it doesnt. After one week of the installation i burnt one of the voice coils. I do not reccomend any boss products. I also had 4 ch4620 in my truck and after three weeks, three of them are blown and i only have them at 90 rms but they are rated for 100 rms.

At first I was going to order this sub through Sonic but due to it not having any reviews and it being a new product at the time I didn't. Wow, that was a mistake. I bourght the subwoofer from a local store for almost 30 dollars more after buying the new Boss PH1500M monoblock amp. After realizing how much more money I spent on this sub and how great it performed I definately am taking it back and ordering two for my Ranger. This sub, even for it being 80 dollars it out performs subs that I have that have costed 100-200 dollars. And honestly I can't see where Boss has cut corners, the basket is great, the magnet is sturdy, the cone is nicely designed and the sub as a whole sounds very good in a sealed box. I'm thinking Boss isn't like those other brands such as Rockford Fosgate, Kenwood and so on that charge a lot of money for subs with no real reason. Great buy, recommend to anyone.
