Intelligent Charging
Kinetik Intelligent 120 VAC to 12 VDC Power Converters are state-of-the-art electronic converters / battery chargers. Their compact size and quiet operation gives greater flexibility in selecting the mounting location for either OEM installation or after market replacement.
The Kinetik Intelligent Power Converters have a computer controlled charging module built in. This is a microprocessor-controlled device which constantly monitors the battery, and then automatically adjusts the converter output voltage based on its charge status. There are four (4) operating Modes (Normal, Boost, Storage and Desulfation/Equalize). Each mode is automatically selected by the microprocessor and ensures a fast yet safe recharge for the connected battery.

I now have three Kinetik power supply/battery charger units. My 90amp unit operates my Alpine car stereo with two amps and 4 sets of speakers and a base. Unit two, my 60amp looks after battery charging and a power supply for my diesel pump. (portable unit) and the third unit (454amp) looks after indoor battery charging and lighting(12v LED) in our plant room. I am so happy with these units, Excellant delivery, quality and price, worth every penny.

This unit powers my garage stereo system: two alpine digital amps with three sets of componemt speakers and one set of three way 6x9s along with an alpine CDE-123 head unit and a sub bass unit along with battery charging as needed. You can also have a battery to power the stereo and have a direct connect to the charger, either or, your choice.
The stereo sounds amazing and at approx 1/3 plus volume the Kinetik is pushing 3.5 to 4 amps, way less then what I had thought. The whole system output is around 1000 watts. One of the best sound systems I have had and planning to do it again with another small cabin I am presently renovating. All purchases made through Sonic when they have in stock items available.
