Warning: The XMDSON100 adapter may cause your Sony sound settings (bass, treble, balance, fader, and sub level) to revert to factory settings when you switch from XM to another source and back. Channel presets and EQ presets will operate properly.

The XMDirect XMDSON100 Smart Digital Adapter allows you to connect the XMD1000 universal XM tuner to a compatible Sony head unit (see below table for compatible 2004 models). The adapter and universal tuner are extremely compact, so they install easily behind your dash or in any other convenient location.
