A New Kind of Rockford Power
Sonic Electronix is now carrying the brand new 2011 line of Rockford Fosgate Power T0 Series Car Audio Subwoofers. The Rockford Fosgate T0D212 12" Subwoofer has a peak power rating of 1400 watts and a RMS rating of 700 watts, which will produce some ground rumbling bass. The subwoofer is constructed with a kevlar fiber reinforced paper cone for added durability, and a vertical attach surround technique that will increase maximum output. This woofer is also equipped with a 3" Voice coil and a anodized aluminum heat sinking dust cap for heat dissipation and minimization of distortion. Add some bumps in your trunk and enhance your cars stereo system with this Rockford Fosgate T0D212 Power T0 Series Subwoofer.
SWIFT: Selectable Woofer Impedance Fused Termination
Making installation faster and easier, Rockford Fosgate developed SWIFT terminals. This system allows the nominal impedance of voice coils to quickly be configured in a Series or Parallel wiring configuration. Removing and inverting the center plug, a Series or Parallel wiring configuration is accomplished. The removable jumper also provides fused protection in severe overload conditions.
Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former
By using an anodized aluminum voice coil former on their subwoofers, Rockford Fosgate is able to dissipate heat from the voice coil more efficiently. A hot voice coil can melt the adhesive bonds, which will lead to eventual subwoofer failure. The aluminum voice coil former acts as a heat-sink to dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil cool during high SPL conditions.
Conforms to CEA-2031
Rockford Fosgate has built this subwoofer to conform to the CEA-2031 loudspeaker power handling industry standards. This means that you can trust the subwoofer to have the capacity to safely handle the continuous (RMS) power rating. Having a CEA-2031 power handling is important when matching a subwoofer to an amplifier because the power ratings are accurate.
Stitched Tinsel Leads
To improve the reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting, Rockford Fosgate has stitched the tinsel leads to the spider. The multipoint periodic stitching lead wires reduce the mass of the tinsel leads to spread the stress over a greater area. This improves the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
VAST: Vertical Attach Surround Technique
In order to increase the surface area of the cone without causing any installation issues, Rockford Fosgate designed the Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST). By redesigning the manner in which the surround adheres to the basket, these speakers gain up to 25% more effective radiating cone area. This improves the nominal efficiency and maximum output.

This is by far the best sub I have ever bought, and heard. Blows my buddies JL W3 out of the water. He is running 600 watts to his JL and I'm under powering my T0 by giving it only 400 watts and it still bumps just as hard if not harder. This sub can hit the low notes better than any I have ever heard, and it hits super hard! Fosgate definitely knows what they are doing. I would recommend this sub to anyone who is looking for a big sound system. I have it in a 2008 Charger with 7 Boston Acoustics and they sound wonderful together, really turns peoples heads.

I bought 2 of these a while ago. i had one blow on me in the first 3 weeks. But since ive got that one replaced they have been great. Never had a problem with them im pushing them with a t500-1 to each sub with a kinetik hc2400 from an alpine headunit and they hit extreamly hard and thats in a box not built to specs. I think if i built a bigger box for them they would sound even better.
