A New Kind of Rockford Power
Sonic Electronix is now carrying the brand new 2011 line of Rockford Fosgate Power T0 Series Car Audio Subwoofers. The Rockford Fosgate T0D410 10" Subwoofer has a peak power rating of 1100 watts and a RMS rating of 550 watts, which will produce some ground rumbling bass. The subwoofer is constructed with a kevlar fiber reinforced paper cone for added durability, and a vertical attach surround technique that will increase maximum output. This woofer is also equipped with a 3" Voice coil and a anodized aluminum heat sinking dust cap for heat dissipation and minimization of distortion. Add some bumps in your trunk and enhance your cars stereo system with this Rockford Fosgate T0D410 Power T0 Series Subwoofer.
SWIFT: Selectable Woofer Impedance Fused Termination
Making installation faster and easier, Rockford Fosgate developed SWIFT terminals. This system allows the nominal impedance of voice coils to quickly be configured in a Series or Parallel wiring configuration. Removing and inverting the center plug, a Series or Parallel wiring configuration is accomplished. The removable jumper also provides fused protection in severe overload conditions.
Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former
By using an anodized aluminum voice coil former on their subwoofers, Rockford Fosgate is able to dissipate heat from the voice coil more efficiently. A hot voice coil can melt the adhesive bonds, which will lead to eventual subwoofer failure. The aluminum voice coil former acts as a heat-sink to dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil cool during high SPL conditions.
Conforms to CEA-2031
Rockford Fosgate has built this subwoofer to conform to the CEA-2031 loudspeaker power handling industry standards. This means that you can trust the subwoofer to have the capacity to safely handle the continuous (RMS) power rating. Having a CEA-2031 power handling is important when matching a subwoofer to an amplifier because the power ratings are accurate.
Stitched Tinsel Leads
To improve the reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting, Rockford Fosgate has stitched the tinsel leads to the spider. The multipoint periodic stitching lead wires reduce the mass of the tinsel leads to spread the stress over a greater area. This improves the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
VAST: Vertical Attach Surround Technique
In order to increase the surface area of the cone without causing any installation issues, Rockford Fosgate designed the Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST). By redesigning the manner in which the surround adheres to the basket, these speakers gain up to 25% more effective radiating cone area. This improves the nominal efficiency and maximum output.

You won't be disappointed!!!
First of all have benn a long standing 12' SUB guy. That said, these 10" sub have absolutely amazed me. A 10" will never, never be a 12" however this is quite possibly the exception. Right out of the box you will notice that you had better use both hands to secure this beast. The weight alone started my adriline pumping. I ordered two of these to replace a set of DB 10" that I had. I blew one of my DB 10" and as a quick comparison hooked up one T0D410 against my DB 10' and the results were night and day. Buy this sub, have enough power to push it and sit back and be amazed. This 10" easily sounds like a twelve and repoduces mid bass accurately. I am using them in a sealed 1.2 cubit per 10" enclosure, using separate Kenwood Excelon mono block amp for each one. After the break in period the sound (pressure) blows you away. BUY THIS SUB!!! I owned a Polk audio sr sub before this which was awesome. Unfortunately the leads going into the voice coil went bad so i headed out to a local shop where they had a fosgate t0 cut in half. Usually voicecoils feel fragile but the coil on this sub seriously feels like a steel ring, the leads to the voicecoil are built into the dust shroud to avoid unwanted stress (basically im saying they've made this indestructible) i currently have it set on 2 ohms and powered with a kicker 750 watt amp. No complaints whatsoever.

found this helpful.Good Rockford sub as usual.
This is a proper good product from Rockford Fosgate. I went straight from a P210D4 to this T010D4 and it was a huge difference. Not having to run wires around the sub was nice as well. I'm a fairly dedicated enthusiast who wants a good balance in his system but also with hard hitting, crisp, punchy bass and this sub is perfect.
