I own this product. It is powered by a Panasonic headunit so they is only getting about 20 watts RMS each. I have the bass all the way up and the speakers take it like champs! The highs, midbass and bass are all good, especially when you only pay twenty-six dollars for them. The bass is most impressive. I've dealt with aftermarkets before and these outperform all (yes, all) pioneers, panasonics, audiobahns, kenwoods and are as good as most kickers. I'm sure you can overdrive them, especially if you give them the rec. power (100 watts RMS). So don't do that. They are really efficient. I can't get over the bass they put out. Don't buy pioneers base models or even the upscale ones. For the price of one pair, you can get two pairs of these, amplify them with about 40 watts RMS each and you'll never go back. So it is for those reasons I highly recommend these if you are on a budget and heck, even if you are not! I gave them a "3" for cosmetics and design cause the tweeter is a little big and may stick out too much on some installs. A "4" for features cause the speaker wire that is included is a joke...it's like 25 gauge....just silly.
So, give them a whirrel.

Good speakers

The adapter plate i bought for them fits in my car, but the speakers don't fit in the plates which is a bummer, but i just drilled new holes and now they are fine. They seem a little underpowered but put out good bass but they are a little quieter than my old factory speakers, but sound much better.

Overall a 4.5 because they are underpowered and I'm not sure about durability because I've only had them in for a day and used them like twice but good so far I just need to buy an amp for that extra power

They are inexpensive so why not?!?!?

Great speaker value

I just installed these in the rear doors of my Nissan Titan. Huge improvement over the factory speakers. Nice solid base and clear highs. These are an outstanding value.

these speakers really improved the quality of sound in my s-10. I installed them in the doors and they really give alot of bass and thump. a great factory substitute.
