These components are loud, Very loud on the highs with the aluminum dome tweeter. Highly recommend putting an amp on them.

Nice package. I like that the tweeters can be mounted on the 6.5" speaker assembly. That is a nice option. The woofers don't put out quite the mid-bass I expected. The tweeters, however, are almost too much. The crossovers are kind of large, and I had a hard time finding a place to fit them. Overall these are a nice compromise between really expensive two-way 6.5" and moderately expensive 6.5" components.

I bought these speakers a year ago and attached a kicker 200.4 which sounded great but not nearly loud enough, I just bought a 350.4 very big difference they have a surprising amount of bass but I agree turn you treble down on the tweeters besides that this is a great price considering you would pay out your ass in a department or electronics store, just remember the amp size makes a large difference go big or don't bother!
