Our chorus purchased the PMP6000 to deal specifically with the acoustical problems of a venue we were using. Having the dual digital effects was essential to account for the reflectivity of the space and it gave our singers a more robust and full-quality sound. Unlike some digitial effects which sound, well...digitized, the effects on the PMP6000 are excellent and very natural sounding. It doesn't have some of the newer features, like USB output, computer control capability, remote terminal...however, it is loaded with useful features and is a great "old-school" mixer for live gigs.

I have used this board in a church before. 16 actual inputs with the rest being stereo channels. Good for small set ups. EQ not very responsive. Effects are ok. FBQ has very few bands and I im not sure what the q value is for that eq either. Gets the job done. Upgraded to an LS9 though.
