I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 with the factory radio. It made lots of sizzle and boom noise but there was gaping holes in the music. I replaced the front dash speakers with the SE35s and it made a huge difference. The factory speakers were 8 ohm cardboard toy speakers from mexico like you'd find in an old cheap japanese tranistor radio. The factory radio hasn't blown yet with the reduced resistance as the dash speakers are wired in parallel with the door speakers. I put 6 x 9 boston acoustic speakers in the back shelf too. I got a lot cleaner sound but lost some of the bass boom. I just run the bass boost very high now. This is highly recommended for a cheap big improvement to the stock system. Pretty easy to install.
