Stability with Kenwood's KFC Series Subwoofers
There are many advantages to running your subwoofers to a final impedance of 4 ohms. For one the system will function at a more stable level and produce cleaner sound. The amplifier will create less heat because it will have to work less to produce the power that is being asked of it. With less heat comes less distortion and possibility of clipping due to overheating. For this reason Sonic Electronix has created a two subwoofer bundle perfect for anyone looking for a good amount of bass. The 12" KFC-W112S subwoofers each feature a single 8 ohm voice coil, which are meant to be wired in parallel to a final impedance of 4 ohms. Having two subswoofer pushing 400 watts of RMS instead of just one will increase the amount of air being moved by the subwoofers. The more air that is moved the deeper the bass. So if you are looking to add some bass to your car audio system at a an affordable price then this bundle is the perfect match for you.

I bought the two for the price of on deal and i got a fierce audio ported box to go with them and i must say these things slam if you wire them to 4 ohms and give them at least 150w rms which is what i gave them till my amp fried. They will blow your mind they hurt my ears on certain songs and my rear view mirror will not stay up and my trunk has so much flex. These compete if not out do my friends CVR's and he is giving them more power then i am mine so i recommend these to anyone who wants serious bass for a low price but remember what i said about the wattage.

Seriously? I bought the buy one get one deal on Sonic's special and have not regretted it. I did research the best way to suit my truck without altering the interior and these subs were the best fit. I matched an amp from sonic's website, and running a solid 4ohms with decent wiring made the sound experience that much better. I'm well aware a person needs to break subs in, but I beat them senseless right out of the chute. All in all, if you're not wanting a competition sub, yet move your hair on every beat, I recommend these subs.
