I bought this amp about a week ago i have it wired to 2 122x mofos at 2 ohms does great the amp says it pushes 1700 rms but i dont know if thats what im runnin cause i have 4 gage wiring kit, but it deffently makes them heard, only problem i have is when it is running its very loud like a humming or buzzing almost like it processing something which its suppose to do but it can be heard from me driver seat an it bugs me alot i dont know if its my ground that bad or what.

i have this amp its the black color one and the reviews on that one seem better than this red on...
specs:3000watt max peak power
specs:rms is 1700w rms on 4 ohms> 1300w rms on 2 ohms> and 900w rms on one ohm im pushing 2 12's cvrs giving them between 600-700 rms on each sub and the subs say 400 rms each sub... i know its way overpowered but the subs need to be broken in still and they are kicker which kicker is a very good brand one of the best competition brands there is

I bought this amp and it pushes my subs good. I hear the same whine noise sounds like a fan running. Then it wouldn't work any more. I would turn up the volume and it would go into protect so i dont know that i just got a defective one.
