I'll be honest - this product works fairly well. You get some feedback when you turn the potentiometer up all the way, which is expected (given that you're straining the board as high as it will go), but it works without any hesitation, which is important.

Installed with a few additional components (line splicer and joiner for power and ground). Thankfully there's enough space behind the stereo unit in the 2006 Mustang for it to just sit back there, no need to mount with screws or anything, the cables and "stuff" back there keep it in place. Only had a 3' RCA to stereo jack, will probably need a 6' to do it properly. Quality is pretty good, minimal noise when nothing is playing.
