I've owned these subs for a couple of weeks now and these things BUMP!! My rear view mirror and and side mirrors are pretty much useless with these things running. The box is sturdy and can handle pretty much anything i can throw at it, and the subs look really good in it too. There's really nothing bad to say about these.....KICKER FOR LIFE!!!!!

This is the set for you if you are looking for a super solid upper mid-range system. Great mix of big sound and clear, accurate bass. Take it easy on them for about two weeks (recommended by Kicker) and then let fly, you can actually hear them getting better and better. They are also a good looking set if you don't mind a different color carpet in the trunk. Built solid and you can tell when you lift them; they are around 65 lbs. of good solid wood. Compare the sensitivity on these for a good quality comparison. Ported box is stuffed with fiberfill, the fiberfill fools the woofer into thinking that it's in a larger box, which helps with a better response to lower frequency bass, making up a little for the fact that these are not 15's.

I have theses sub in my 1996 Honda Civic. I have them powered by an alpine v12 mono block amp. They hit so are that you can see my windows moving and the rear view mirror I cant use.. theses subs with that amp are a good choice.. I love it.

My friend has this setup in his ford thunderbird and it hits 2xs harder than my non-ported regular box does. It really makes a difference on your box and how it is setup. I recommend this box for any kicker sub. It not only looks great but I like the one positive and negative terminals for both the subs. It is a great box that really hits hard with the port on the side.

my friend put this box in his 2001 ford crown vic and they sound good hit hard, but the only thing he had a problem with was finding a amp that would be perfect and not blow the subs.
