The VEGA series subwoofers are the most recognizable Cerwin-Vega subwoofers and are available in an 8", 10", 12" and 15" size woofer. With each size having the option of either a Dual 2 ohm or Dual 4 ohm voice coil. With this many available sizes and different voice coil impedance the possibilities are endless and the VEGA series subwoofers are sure to satisfy any bass reproduction need. VEGA woofers have a power rating of 500 watts peak and 250 watts of continuous RMS power. The woofers feature a composite polypropylene design that offers perfect weight to strength ratin to increase the durability of the subwoofers and improve performance. Its rubber surround allows for high amounts of excursion, while the rolled aluminum former increase thermal capabilities to improve power handling. The woofers also feature cross-flow window venting that reduces voice coil temperatures and radial contact convex domes that reduce cone flex and minimize distortion. Cerwin-Vega VEGA102.2 best bang for the buck
This has to be the best 10" sub for the money I have ever owned. I am running this sub in a .75 sealed box with 500 watts and it absolutely hammers for a single 10. Completely satisfied.

I was alittle hesitant to get these because the RMS is so low. Glad I did! I got two of them in a vented box im my brothers expedition. Wired at 2 ohm's, runing off a 1500 watt mono amp. The gain is all the way down and I couldnt believe how hard and clean they sound. I am very satisfied with Cerwin Vega!! Pros- clean look , clean sound and very affordable!! I would get these again!! Cons, havent found any.

i purchased a 10" cerwin vega 102.2 sub from sonic a fosgate prime r500.1 a .7 cf box to fit the sub in. im running the sub in 4ohms and was very unsatisfied with the lack of low frequency response from the combo. i decided to buy some polyfill to stuff the box in and wow what a differance. before the stuff the lows would bottom out. after the fill the lows harmonize very well and the sub responds well. if purchaseing this sub get at least a .9cf box.

You can't go wrong with Cerwin Vega. This woofer sounds great in my 350Z, driving it with a Cerwin Vega SX 220.2 amp, to replace the wimpy stock Bose woofer.
