This iPod control interface is made specifically for the Pioneer AVIC-D3, DEH-P4900iB and DEH-P5900iB units. It is simple. All you have to do is connect one end of the cable to the Pioneer iPod connection port in the rear of the head unit and the other end to the iPod. Then you are set and ready to listen to you iPod! Simple as that. It gives you convenient control and charging for your iPod. The simple one cable connection eliminates the bulky adapter box found with many iPod adapters.
