The PA D1000.1 is Polk Audio's new high-efficient digital monoblock amplifier. This amplifier is able to power handle at 4 ohms, 2 ohms, and even 1 ohm. Highly recommended! Very small footprint. Running incredibly cool given I have it enclosed in a spare tire well with another D series amp and its running at 1 Ohm. After 2 hours of hard hitting 2 12" Polk SR DVC's its still barely warm! Amazing really. Hits HARD and CLEAN. Used some Five Finger Death Punch to see just how well it and the SR's can keep up and not sound muddy and I was very very pleased. Look wonderful with the blue LED's atop. Very nice and heavy duty wire connection for up to 1/0 cable. Cant say enough good things about this new addition to the Polk line. Buy it, you will NOT regret it.
Oh and the remote bass knob is icing on the cake, so nice to just be able to tweak down some of those hard hitting mixes you were not expecting.
